In Danemarca se afla si 3 importante lucrari de arta feroviare, care asigura legatura feroviara dintre Europa continentala si peninsula Scandinava.

Acestea sunt

-The old Little Belt Bridge (vechiul pod peste stramtoarea Beltul Mic). Este un pod mixt (rutier si feroviar), cu o lungime de 1178 m, inaugurat in anul 1935.
Asigura legatura intre peninsula Iutlanda (si implicit Europa continentala)(Fredericia) si insula Fyn (Middelfart).


-The Great Belt Fixed Link (Legatura Fixa peste stramtoarea Beltul Mare)
Asigura legatura mixta (rutiera si feroviara) intre insula Fyn (Nyborg) si insula Zealand (Korsor).
Lungimea totala este de 6790 m, si cuprinde un pod mixt (rutier si feroviar) intre insula Fyn si mica insula Sprogo, respectiv un tunel feroviar submarin si un pod rutier intre mica insula Sprogo si insula Zealand.
A fost inaugurat in anul 1998.


-Drogden Tunnel si Oresund Bridge, care asigura legatura intre insula Zealand (Copenhaga, Danemarca) si peninsula Scandinava (Malmo, Suedia).
Lungimea totala este de 7845 m, si a fost inaugurat in anul 2000.
Ansamblul cuprinde Drogden Tunnel (care leaga insula Zealand de mica insula Peberholm, in lungime de 4050 m) si Oresund Bridge (care leaga mica insula Peberholm de peninsula Scandinava).


Prin aceste 3 mari constructii, Danemarca asigura unica legatura feroviara fixa, pe ecartament normal, intre Europa continentala si peninsula Scandinava.

In afara de aceasta legatura fixa, intre Germania si Danemarca mai exista si legaturi feroviare realizate cu ajutorul feryboaturilor.

Acestea sunt

-Puttgarden (Germania)- Rodbyhavn (Danemarca, insula Lolland), cu feryboatul.
-Rodbyhavn- Sundby= cale ferata
-Sundby (insula Lolland)- Nykobing (insula Falster)= pod mixt, rutier si feroviar (lungime 295 m, an inaugurare 1963. Este un pod mobil).
-Nykobing (insula Falster)- Orehoved= cale ferata
-Orehoved (insula Falster)- Masnedo (mica insula cu accelasi nume)= pod mixt, rutier si feroviar (lungime 3199 m, an inaugurare 1937)
-Masnedo- Vordingborg (insula Zealand)= pod mixt, rutier si feroviar (lungime 201 m, an inaugurare 1937)
-Vordingborg- Naestved- Koge- Copenhaga= cale ferata

Aceasta ruta asigura legatura feroviara intre Hamburg (Germania) si Copenhaga.
Dupa ce va fi construit si podul sau tunelul feroviar submarin intre Puttgarden (Germania) si Rodbyhavn (Danemarca, insula Lolland), si aceasta legatura feroviara va deveni una fixa.


De asemenea, o alta legatura feroviara intre Germania si Danemarca este

-Rostock/Warnemunde- Gedser (Danemarca, insula Falster)= feryboat
-Gedser- Nykobing= cale ferata

Cat de ecologisti sunt danezii dar inca mai au multa cale ferata neelectrificata si o locomotiva ME de 3500 cp polueaza echivalentul la 10000 de masini Tesla

El zicea ca fac curse intre Copenhaga si Hamburg. Acest lucru este confirmat si de un post pe railfaneurope.net: DB 605 006/506 (Tz 5506) ready for departure at Lübeck Hbf. This is the only class 605 DMU in DSB colours. The railcars are used since 2007 between Hamburg and Copenhagen. DB plans to terminate the rental of these trains to DSB in December 2016. EUROPE: Identity checks for rail passengers travelling across the Űresund fixed link between Denmark and Sweden are to be simplified with effect from January 30, Danish national operator DSB has announced.

In response to the European migrant crisis, with effect from January 4 2016 the Swedish government brought in a requirement for passengers arriving in the country to have official photo ID. Identity checks for long-distance trains take place before boarding in Kűbenhavn H station, with passengers asked to arrive 30 min before departure. Passengers on commuter and regional services are required to disembark at Kűbenhavn airport station for identify checks in Terminal 3, before boarding another train on a different platform. This adds around 20 min to journeys on a route which carries significant daily commuter traffic.

The new procedures will enable passengers being checked to use the same platform, which is expected to reduce delays and enable more trains to be operated; a service from Kűbenhavn H to the airport is planned to run every 10 min once the new procedures are running smoothly. DSB’s IC Bornholm service will also resume calling at the airport from January 30.

Passenger numbers across the Űresund in 2016 were down 12% on the previous year. DSB says the ID checks also had direct cost of DKr70m during the year, of which Swedish transport authority Skćnetrafiken will pay half.

There have been about 27 cases of passengers with missing or faulty ID reaching Sweden, with DSB assigned a penalty SKr10 000 in one case, a decision which it has objected to.

There are no ID checks when travelling from Sweden to Denmark.

oricum sunt frectii la picor de lemn aceste masuri, doar sa propaganda ieftina sa prosteasca populatia europeana ca se face ceva....atata timp cat cei prinsi in neregula pot depune o cerere de azil in care zic ca nu au acte si au intrat in legalitate, totul e doar circ ieftin...culmea ca sub masca unor masuri de aparare de fapt sunt discrimnati cetatenii europeni din statele estice, in timp ce adevaratii infractori care au intrat ilegal in europa nu patesc nimic....

Muzeul Feroviar din Danemarca a cumpărat un DMU relativ nou. La cum am văzut că merge treaba e la ăia nu e de mirare.

DENMARK: Operations and infrastructure management on the Kűbenhavn S-bane network are to be tendered as an integrated package, the government announced on December 13. Keeping track and trains together would facilitate conversion to fully automated operation, it explained.

Transport, Building & Housing Minister Ole Birk Olesen said it was the intention of the ruling VLAK coalition of Venstre, the Liberal Alliance and Danish People’s Party to outsource more services. This agreement would see the tendering of ‘a significant part of the Danish railway network’ accounting for around 68% of all passenger journeys across the country. Following on from the experience with tenders in central and western Jutland, it would lift the proportion of traffic to be tendered to 41% of all train-km and 75% of passenger-km.

The capital’s extensive S-bane network is currently managed by Banedanmark and run by DSB, although its 1·5 kV DC traction supply and the Siemens CBTC now being installed make it independent from the rest of the network in technical terms. It accounts for around 60% of DSB’s total ridership and 27% of train-km operated. It also represents approximately 20% of Banedanmark’s total expenditure on operations, maintenance and renewals.

The government’s intention is to transfer the S-bane assets from both DSB and Banedanmark to a new organisation, which will then be tendered as a PPP concession. The new operator would be expected to bring the necessary ‘economic and operational skills’ to manage the business during the transition from conventional to automatic operation and then through a subsequent operational phase.

Building on the capabilities of the new CBTC, which is to be fully commissioned by 2021, automatic operation is to be phased in as the current rolling stock is replaced. The suggestion is that the driverless technology should initially be tested on the Ringbanen between Hellerup and Ny Ellebjerg. Once this had been successfully tested, it would be rolled out across other S-bane routes by 2036.

Olesen said a switch to automatic train operation would increase the efficiency of S-tog operations and reduce costs. More frequent services would allow the network to handle an extra 13 million passengers per year, while automation would provide greater operating flexibility to accommodate traffic surges.

EUROPE: Transport authorities in Denmark and Sweden have reached agreement to split up the current cross-Űresund rail services from December 2021, Denmark’s Minister of Transport, Building & Housing Ole Birk Olesen announced on December 13.

As part of a political agreement paving the way for more tendering of domestic rail services, the VLAK coalition government has decided to separate the provision of rail services on the fixed link from regional services in Denmark.

At present, the Űresundstaget contract is tendered jointly by Denmark and Sweden, with two organising authorities and two operators running the service. Because trains using the link serve a variety of routes in southern Sweden, this has resulted in poor punctuality on the Danish side, particularly on the busy Kystbanen route between Kűbenhavn and Helsingűr.

The Danish government has now decided that this ‘complex organisation’ should be divided, with the Kystbanen services to be tendered as a separate domestic business. Cross-Űresund trains between Kűbenhavn and Malmö would be managed solely by Skćnetrafiken. The Swedish agency expects to tender a range of services during 2018, which will include the future operation of the Űresund service. Trains from Malmö would continue to run through central Kűbenhavn, but would then terminate at Űsterport rather than Helsingűr.

Accepting that the cross-border service provided ‘great mobility’, Olesen said it was of particular relevance to the Swedish side as around two-thirds of the passengers were Swedish. This made it ‘obvious’ that Skćnetrafikken should be responsible for managing the business’ he explained.
